The long awaited day had finally arrived! 12th October 2013, the day my cousin Erin wed her Mr Perfect… I’ve been looking forward to Erin’s big day, she is super organised so this meant she booked early! – Early bird gets the worm! And doesn’t miss out on their preferred makeup artist! – I love taking care of family, there is always so many laughs, it really doesn’t feel like work at all! I arrived at the girls rooms at 4.45am [Yes, I was up at 3am – I have two small children… I’m used to this!] greeted with some sleepy but also excited faces!
Everything about this day flowed so effortlessly… and so relaxed. I’m sure there were moments of nerves and a little rushing at the last minute but what is a Wedding Day without them. Erin chose a simply stunning and very spring theme for her Wedding. Perfectly placed hairstyles and glamourous makeup… The girls wore a glossed red lip teamed with flick liner, 3/4 lash and natural contour to the eye and for Erin a smoky effect with definition for her eyes, the same 3/4 lash as the girls, a stronger cheek, soft pink kissable lip only complete with a beautiful contour and slight shimmer glow. Not too much, not too little but simply perfect.
Erin departs for her overseas honeymoon tomorrow afternoon and I’m sure she will have an amazing time! I did catch her briefly tonight for her thoughts on her big day:
“Tyneale… It was the most AMAZING day! It started with you and Paula Schaumberg our hair stylist arriving. You’re bubbly personalities added to the excitement of the day! Florist was Jo from Lush Lily at Mount Gravatt and they were supurb! We loved the flowers and everyone commented on the Daisy’s and baby’s breath. Our photographer was Jess Hinchliffe and to say she was the best fun ever would be an understatement! The bridal party loved her and all of our guests commented on how fun, friendly, professional and great she was! She was fabulous! I’d recommend all of them in a heart beat! The girls (and mum) and I LOVED our makeup! To not only have you there as our make up artist to make us all look beautiful but to have you involved as a family member… It meant the world! We had a beautiful day and we felt beautiful! So thank you so very much!!Thanks so much!! xxxx”
A few words from one of the Bride’s sisters [and Bridesmaid] – Tara:
“To be able to be part of my sisters big day, didn’t really hit me until we got into the lift at the hotel to leave for the church, seeing her & dad starting to count down to when we could go to the cars, get sweaty palms before walking down the aisle and seeing them enter the church was beautiful. No words can describe what a beautiful bride she made, Tyneale didn’t have to do very much to enhance Erin’s features, but I loved every part of being made up by Tyneale, the makeup was flawless & she added great energy at 4am whilst we were still trying to wake up. The whole day was amazing, and I would like to thank Tyneale for making us all feel as beautiful as the bride to be.”
What a day! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness Mr & Mrs Glover! You deserve it!
