Krystal & Jarred <3

On the 21st June I headed off to Woodlands – I’ve been visiting there a lot lately! Beautiful venue! – It was a little overcast but you could see the sun peeking through the clouds, it was going to be a perfect day to be married! Today’s Wedding held a different place in my heart, I’ve known Krystal and Jarred for many years through various connections. I actually went all through primary and high school with Jarred… was hard to believe that this rat bag boy had caught himself a stunning women!

All was calm in ‘Team Bride’, there were a few bumps through out the morning but never enough to unsettled the Bride to Be. Krystal and Jarred had styled their Wedding Day beautifully, the Bride wore white, the Bridemaids wore a blush champagne and two of the cutest Flower Girls wore white and matched their Mummy’s dress so sweetly. As far as makeup goes, I had stunning canvases to work on! We featured the eyes for both Krystal and her girls of course complete only with a lash enhancement.

It was an honour to be part of such a special occasion not just as the Makeup Artist but also as a friend. Congratulations Krystal, Jarred, Bella and Mia. A beautiful day for a lovely family.

Even though these lucky people are still away on their honeymoon (Tasmania!!! How gorgeous!) I’ve had a chance to catch up with Krystal to hear her thoughts about their day… Big thanks to Angelic Studio for allowing me to share her sneak peek image from their big day!

Venue: Woodlands of Marburg
Hairstylist: Rustic Blonde
Makeup Artist: Tyneale Hahn Makeup Artist
Dress Maker: Glenda of Sew Formal
I looked for months trying to find something I loved that wasn’t totally over priced! I eventually came across a dress I fell in love with instantly which was totally different to what I was originally looking for but knew it was perfect the minute I saw it! It was a hard choice I think once I saw ‘the dress’ I knew it was perfection! Glenda saw my vision and created it perfectly!
Florist: Brisbane Market Flowers put together by Flowers by MJ
We bought the flowers from Brisbane Market Flowers and Meagan a friend from ‘Flowers by MJ’ put them together…totally stunning!

My favourite moment of the day that’s a hard one! I think obviously when I got out of the car and saw Jarred and the girls waiting at the end of the aisle! The whole day was perfect with everyone I loved by my side!

Funniest moment of the day would have to be nearly stacking it down the aisle haha! My heel got caught on a stringy piece of grass and I couldn’t get it free! I had to laugh it off though it would have looked hilarious!

Picking our bridal party was easy and hard at the same time! Hard because we have so many amazing friends I would have loved to be apart of it all! I think what made it easy was the longevity of our friendships I have known my Maid of honour since pre school, my sister and my other Bridesmaid I have known for over 10 years…no matter how much time or distance pass us we still remain close and always pick up where we left off! The same applies for the boys! I think it’s important to know that these friendships will last forever!

I think if I had one peice of advice it would be to relax and have fun! Have people around you that you love and trust with every little detail! I was a little stressed but once I let that go and relaxed we all had an amazing day which is what it’s all about!

My makeup was stunning…not once have I ever had my makeup done and it lasted all day or night as I have oily skin! But yours was perfect! I felt amazing all day and my makeup did not move! Not once did I feel the need to touch up nor did I! Everyone commented on how great it looked! I would recommend you to anyone and will be coming to you for every special occasion from now on!
