Ally & Elliot <3

On the 19th April I headed out to Gabbinbar Homestead to take care of Ally on her perfect day. The weather, the venue… everything was beautiful! I arrived in the Bridal Suite to be greeted by smiling faces and the buzz of excitement! Hair and Makeup preparations were a breeze, Sarah Courtney Hairstylist was responsible for the girls gorgeous styles.

Ally’s chosen looks suited everyone perfectly! (pictured in the slide show below – Thank you JnS Photographics for allowing me to share!)

Ally, it was a pleasure to be there for you on your day of days, I know you’ve enjoyed your honeymoon, settled into your new job and welcomed precious niece, Luna Rose. (Big congratulations to your sister and husband!) Wishing you a happily ever after!

Here’s what the Bride said…

What was your favourite moment of the day?
Saying my Vows to my amazing (now) husband!

Any funny moments? Emotional moments?
I had typed the wrong name on the seating chart! Luckily, the staff at the venue picked this up and were able to change it for me. Just before walking down the aisle it really hit me that I was about to get married. I was so excited but I felt like my heart was about to jump out of my chest!

How did you find ‘the dress’?
I had been looking online at the Peter Alexander range A LOT and found a stockist in Chermside ‘ Sugar and Spice’. I had already picked out my favourite dress before going in, I tried it on and knew I had to have it! Within the hour I had placed an order and paid a deposit.

What personal touches did you add to your day?
I made all my bridesmaids necklaces. With my bridesmaids, we made all the place cards and put the table gifts together.

What did you think of the makeup and service you received?
I absolutely loved my make up! Tyneale was so lovely to work with and I enjoyed having her there to help me in the morning. My bridesmaids looked stunning and the make up stayed on all day and night with only a few touch ups with the lip gloss needed that was provided in the touch-up kit. My mum also had her make up done by Tyneale and she LOVED it!

Do you have any advice for future Brides?
Don’t let the little things (that seem like huge issues) worry you. Weddings are stressful and everyone always has their own opinion of how you should be doing things. As long as you and your future husband have agreed on something, don’t let what others say affect your choices. Try to relax in the morning of your wedding day and just enjoy the before while you are getting ready with your bridesmaids. Make sure you have some time to yourself and don’t forget to have breakfast and eat something for lunch! At the end of the day all that matters is that you married the man of your dreams.
