Emma’s Perfect Day.

On the 4th September I headed to Spicer’s Hiddenvale for Emma’s perfect day. And perfect it was, clears skies with a slight breeze!

Spicer’s Hiddenvale is a world away, a perfect place to begin your forever… I was greeted by many smiling faces upon arriving. Emma was surrounded by family and friends for morning preparations, no nerves and no stress! Emma it was an absolute pleasure to take care of you on your day of days, your gown was breathtaking! I loved the effortlessly beautiful hair and makeup we settled on (yes we were torn between a couple looks – but seriously it’s your wedding day, it IS hard to choose!) It was a match made in heaven with your gown. I wish you both every happiness in the future!

I recently caught up with Emma, here’s what the Bride said…

What was your favourite moment of the day? Seeing my soon to be husband as I walked towards him for our ceremony. It was so emotional and I was overwhelmed to see all our guests.

How did you choose the location for your ‘I Do’? Lots of research, googling and going to visit locations. We ended up going with a venue which felt like what we were aiming for the wedding: country, relaxed and naturally beautiful.

How did you pick your dress? Any advice? With great difficulty! My advice would be to go with your gut – listen to what other people tell you but also take into account what you want for yourself.

What did you think of your Hair and Makeup and the service you received? I was so happy with the service Tyneale provided for myself and my sister-in-law. The makeup looked flawless despite less than perfect skin underneath! I loved how I didn’t feel weighed down with makeup, yet in photos it looked beautiful. Tyneale was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to the hair style, and I valued and trusted her opinion.

Any advice for future Brides? Everyone told me to savour the day as it goes so quickly and this is so true! You plan for such a long time, and you really do blink and it’s all over. And don’t get bogged down in favours and colour schemes and lose sight of the most important thing of the day – you are marrying your partner!

Thank you to Jessie Dains Photography (who captured these beautiful moments for Emma) for allowing Me to share them.
